Getting there: A train runs direct from the airport to Ghent Sint-Pieters Station, three kilometres from the hotel, four times an hour. A taxi direct from the airport typically costs around 90.
Driving directions: From Brussels, follow the signs for Aalst, Wetteren, and Ghent (E40). At the interchange follow directions for Ghent Centre. Continue straight onto the Vlaanderenstraat and at the T-junction at the end, turn left onto Brabantdam. Follow Vogelmarkt and Zonnestraat. Cross the bridge and take the second street on the right. Pass the church and turn left onto Sint-Michiels Street. Take the first right and the hotel is on the right-hand side.
Getting around: Much of the centre of Ghent is pedestrianised and can therefore be explored on foot. There are also many cycle lanes and bikes can be hired easily. The city is served by a network of buses, trolley buses and trams, and water taxis run on the river.
