Getting there: Taxis are available from the airport and cost approximately 95.
Driving directions: From Brussels airport, follow E40 towards Ghent. On junction with E17 take direction Antwerp and then exit to the left to B401 'Gent Centrum.' Continue straight ahead. At bus station, again go straight ahead into Vlaanderenstraat. Upon reaching T-junction, turn left and at the end turn right into Brabantdam. Go straight across Kouter square and Veldstraat. Over the canal, take second right into Onderbergen. At the end take left and then right again at Poel. Continue towards Drabstraat and find the hotel on the right.
Getting around: Much of the centre of Ghent is pedestrianised and can therefore be explored on foot. There are also many cycle lanes and bikes can be hired easily. The city is served by a network of buses, trolley buses and trams, and water taxis run on the river.
