The railway station can be found on the basement level, below the terminal building. Airport City Express trains to Brussels depart approximately every 10-30 minutes to Brussels’ three main stations. Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a yellow and blue emblem. De Lijn buses run also every 45 minutes to the city. By car, take the E40 Brussel-Luik road and then the E314 Leuven-Hasselt. Take Exit 15 Winksele to Leuven Centrum.
Leuven’s historic city center is best explored on foot, but a car is recommended for getting to and from other attractions, such as Antwerp and Bruges.
